Greeted by friendly bar staff, found a table. Got busy round us quite quickly. No delay in service. The food was substantial, tasty and nice and hot. The serving staff enjoyed a joke too. All clearly very hard working. An enjoyable meal

‘Staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast included was brilliant . Always offered extra toast and tea/coffee too! The room was very clean and was thoughtfully supplied as it had been very cold, plus a very good sized comfy bed , excellent for the price! Good tea/coffee/biscuit supply, kettle, hair dryer, decent ensuite. Bar on the bottom floor has cosy wood fire, and served wonderful food.

Nice friendly traditional style pub. Didn't eat ourselves but saw other people's, looked nice. Good selection of drinks & helpful staff.

Visited today and found the veggie options to be varied and delicious, portion sizes were good. We were given dog biscuits on arrival and colouring items for the little one. Staff were incredibly attentive, thank you. If we were local we’d definitely come again

Just popped in for a drink, as we were staying very locally. Sat outside, as the weather was fair. It was mid week, and the weather had been abysmal tbf, so not many punters. The staff were nice and the place had a friendly vibe. I would like to come back and dine to give a fair review... I'm sure it would be great.

The water pressure is horrible, the room is small and the bed. The breakfast is OK if you like a small sausage included with your full English meal. The parking is not good as you need to look somewhere else.

Cosy, friendly Inn with tremendous character and wonderful staff who definitely went the extra mile. Ideally situated to explore the area and relax at the end of the day by the fire. Thank you and definitely planning returning soon.

Just had a lovely meal(3/11/23)at tea time.Lovely gammon for my self and my wife had fish both with skinny chips with a nice pint,excellent service and I would recomend to anybody
